What is the prânâyâma?

The prânâyâma is a method to not only harmonize the breath, but also the senses and the mind

The term sanscrito prâna (from the root "an" - "to breathe") can assume manifold meanings, points out "energy", "vital puff", "strength" and "dynamism"; you/he/she is often used to the plural to describe the vital breaths.
