Disciplinary of production
Article 1
The denomination of checked origin "Monteregio of Maritime Mass" it is reserved to the wines red, red reserve, rosy, white, Vermentino, bridegroom and holy Vin that answer to the conditions and the requisite established by the disciplinary present of production.
The denomination of checked origin "holy Vin of Monteregio of Maritime Mass" puè to be integrated from the specifications eye of partridge e/o reserves.
Article 2.
The denomination wines of checked origin "Monteregio of Maritime Mass" you/they must be gets from the grapes coming from the having vineyards, in the business circle, the composition ampelografica I approach specified:
- "Monteregio of Maritime Mass" red, reserve, rosy and bridegroom: Sangiovese, least the 80%; you/they can compete other berry vines black, not aromatic, recommended or authorized for the province of Grosseto, singly in the 10% limit or, jointly, not over 20%.
- "Monteregio of Maritime Mass" white: They thresh Tuscan, least 50%;Vermentino, white Malvasia, white Malvasia of Candia and Ansonica, alone or jointly, not over 30%; you/they can compete other berry vines white, recommended or authorized for the province of Grosseto, singly in the 15% limit or, jointly, not over 30%.
- "Monteregio of Maritime Mass" Vermentino: Vermentino, least 90%;possono to compete other berry vines white, recommended or authorized for the province of Grosseto, not over 10%.
- "Holy Vin of Monteregio of Maritime Mass": Tuscan and Malvasia thresh, alone or jointly, least 70%; you/they can compete other berry vines white, recommended or authorized for the province of Grosseto, alone or jointly, not over 30%.
- "Holy Vin of Monteregio of Maritime Mass" eye of partridge: Sangiovese, from 50 to 70%; Black Malvasia, from 10 to 50%; you/they can compete the grapes of other berry vines black, recommended or authorized for the province of Grosseto, up to a maximum of 30%.
Article 3
The grapes destined wines of checked origin to the production of the denomination "Monteregio of Maritime Mass" of which to the precedent article 2 you/they must originate from the vineyards situated in the part north of the province of Grosseto included in the administrative territory of the communes of Maritime Mass and Monterotondo Marittimo and partly in the territories of the communes of Roccastrada, Gavorrano, Castiglione of the Pescia, Scarlino and Follonica, with exclusion of the fund valley.

Article 4.
The environmental conditions and of crop of the vineyards destined wines of checked origin to the production of the denomination "Monteregio of Maritime Mass" of which must be those traditional of the zone to the article 2 and however fit to confer to the grapes, to the musts and the derived wines the specific characteristics of quality.
I am therefore to consider him fit, to the goals of the registration to the bulletin-board of which to the article 15 of the law February 10 th 1992, n. 164, entirely the inclusive vineyards in the hilly band and pedecollinare with enough altitude and good person setup hydraulic-agriculture. Article 5.
The operations of viniticazione, of maintenance and of aging of the wines of which you/they must have effected within the whole territory of the province of Grosseto to the article 2.
The maximum surrender of the grape in ended wine must not be superior to 70% for the wines "Monteregio of Maritime Mass" white, red, reserve and novella, to 65% for the wines "Monteregio of Maritime Mass" rosy and Vermentino and to the 35% of the fresh (a third year of aging of the wine) grape for the "holy Vin of Monteregio of Maritime Mass" and "holy Vin of Monteregio of Maritime Mass" eye of partridge.
In the vinificazione of the wines of which to the preceding paragraph the practical fit local, loyal and constant enologiches are acknowledged only to confer, to the wines themselves, theirs peculiar characteristics.
In the grapes' vinificazione for the denomination wine of checked origin "Monteregio of Maritime Mass" rosy, the possible contact of the must with the solid parts must be limited so that to assure the characteristics of color of which to the article 6.
The denomination wine of checked origin "Monteregio of Maritime Mass" red, produced by grapes that they assure a title alcolometrico volumico 11 natural minimum ,5% you/he/she is introduced to the consumption with a title alcolometrico 12% least total volumico, after a period of aging than at least two years of which at least six months in wood strokes and three months of refinement in bottle, you/he/she can bring in label the mention it reserves.

"Monteregio of Maritime Mass" bridegroom:

Holy Vin Monteregio of Maritime Mass and holy Vin Monteregio of Mass Maritime reserve:

- taste: harmonic, velvety, with more pronounced roundness for the agreeable type;
- title alcolometrico least total volumico: 16% of which: for the dry type, at least 14% developed and a maximum of 2% to be developed; for the agreeable title, at least 13% developed and a 3% minimum to be developed;
- least total acidity: 4,5 for thousand in the dry type and 5 for thousand in the agreeable type;
- acidity volatile motto: 1,6 for thousand;
- extract dry clean minimum: 21 for thousand.
Holy Vin of Monteregia of Maritime Mass" eye of partridge:
- color: from pink intense to pink pale;
- odor: warm, intense;
- taste: sweet, soft, velvety and round;
- title alcolometrico total volumico minimo:16% of which 14% develops;
- least total acidity: 4 for thousand;
- extract dry clean minimum: 26 for thousand.
It is Faculty of the minister of the agricultural, alimentary and forest Resources, with really decree, to modify the least limits for total acidity and clean dry extract.
Article 7.
To the denomination wines of origin checked of which it is forbidden the addition to the article 2 of any different qualification from those anticipated from the disciplinary present of production understood ivi the extra adjectives, end, select, selected and similar.
Nevertheless the use of indications is allowed that does names reference, social reasons and marks deprived not having laudatory signiticato and not fit to deceive the consumer.

Article 8.
The denomination wines of checked origin "Monteregio of Maritime Mass" you/they must exclusively be introduces to the consumption in bottles of the types bordolese or borgognona of non superior ability to the 5 liters.
The denomination wines of checked origin "holy Vin of Monteregio of Maritime Mass" and "holy Vin of Monteregio of Maritime Mass" eye of partridge you/they must exclusively be introduces to the consumption in non superior bottles to 0,750 liters.
Article 9.
Whoever produces, he/she sells, it sets in sale or however it distributes for the consumption, with the denomination of checked origin "Monteregio of Maritime Mass", wines that don't answer to the conditions and the requisite established by the disciplinary present of production you/he/she is punished to norm of the articles 28, 29, 30 and 31 of the law February 10 th 1992, n. 164.
