The archipelago of the Balearic Islands is constituted by four greater islands: Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza and Formentera, surrounded by a crowd of rocky islets. The coasts of the island in Majorca, the greatest for extension, is rich of beaches of white sand to north and jagged from rocky inlets and from harbors south dispositions. for the one who wants to make some trekking you/he/she can make stupendous excursions on the chain mountainous Greenhouse de Tramuntana, where possible to admire stupendous Mediterranean landscapes is, the Puig Major (1445 ms) mountain is the peak of the island.
Minorca boasts of a prestigious seal, in 1993 in fact you/he/she has been declared Reserve of the Biosphere from the UNESCO. The Islands are rich of beautiful beaches, of bays and of calanche not yet contaminated by the tourism, they deserve therefore the maximum respect not to notch this delicate landscape.The Islands of Ibiza and Formentera are rather arid and the climate, very warm, it is perfect for the one who loves to be on the beach, and even it practises the naturism.
Ideal destination in all the seasons, the Balearic Islands enjoy in mild winters and warm summers, that you/they invite to spend the days on the coast, and outside. The middle temperatures oscillate around the 15° Cs in winter, and the 27° Cs reach in the summer.
