The presentation is entertained within the show author's / WORKSCAPE MAXXI Cantiere organized by the DARC - general Direction for the architecture and the contemporary art. It continues therefore the collaboration between the Darc and the Foundation Pitti Discovery, two corporate body that have to heart from different points of view the ideas and the figures of the contemporary, initiated in 2005 with the project The Italian Look. Italian photos of fashion from 1951 to today, a show / installation and a book shown up in Milan, Rotunda of street Besana and subsequently to the MAXXI in Rome.
The volume From Fiorucci to the Guerrilla Stores focuses through some examples paradigmatic 30 years of architectures for the fashion and of strategies of communication, from Helium Fiorucci to Guilty Kawakubo, passing through Calvin Klein and George Armani, learning the Japanese lesson and twisting the communicative logics with Prada.
If the shopping is the activity that better defines the life public, the transformations that have marked shops, strategies of communication and marketing are the story of the complex and articulated overlaps and connections among the systems of the fashion, of the design, of the architecture, of the art and of the communication. The fashion and the architecture are essential components of the cultural industry today, while the confinements between the art and the consumerism dissolve him and they are difficult more and more to be individualized. Architect. It graduates in Venice with a thesis on the use of the architecture as tool of brand communication. You/he/she is specialized in brand design and marketing for the good of luxury to the European institute of Design. You/he/she has worked as editor for magazines of fashion and currently it is responsible marketing for a firm that deals him with lighting design.

The system of the fashion in the last years is evolved with great speed. The sceneries are changed, the challenges, the protagonists. The fashion has definitely changed skin up to become a trial that redraws the world from top to fund, a general form that acts in the whole society and, the last generations of fashion designers are city by now global gotten used to think of three dimensions, definite to intersect their job with the other creative systems of the contemporary.
Fashions it is a publishing project that wants to tell these changes with the look of the today, not only using a different dictionary, but also offering a critical reading, sensitive to the transformations in action, of the job of the new protagonists.
