HEAVY IN CHIANTI
Placed to the intersection of the roads that you/they connected Florence to Siena and the Valdarno Superiore to the Valdelsa, in the Middle Ages, Heavy it was a small dependent installation from castle of Montefioralle that developed him since the XIII sec. as "mercatale" of the principal castles of the zone.

Not too far Heavy, in direction of Panzano, the sixteenth-century villa of Vignamaggio is found, surrounded by one of the most beautiful gardens to the Italian of the Chianti. Here, according to the tradition, the famous Monna Lisa would have been born immortalized by Leonardo.
