EXCURSIONS TO AJACCIO
The Milellis. - 5,5 North km
West. To leave Ajaccio crossing the Cours Napoléon and, shortly after the station, to take to the left (indicative poster) the road of Winged, then to turn to the left still. The ancient country house of the family Bonaparte, surrounded by a secular olive-grove, it belongs to the city of Ajaccio. When, in May 1793, the Bonapartes owed leave their house of Ajaccio, Letitia, accompanied by his/her daughters Annulled and Paolina and from the abbot Fesch, you/he/she came to shelter him to the Milellis. It was May 25 th 1793. In the night of June 1°, revolving Ajaccio from the Sant'Angelo mountain, Letitia and his succeeded in reaching the tower of Capital. To his/her return from Egypt, Bonaparte sojourned to the Milellis together with Murat and of Lannes.
Sarrola-Carcopino. - 812 abs. 20 Northeasts km.
To leave Ajaccio and to follow the road of Court (N 194J for 11 kms, then to take to the left the D 1). The road climbs among the sugheres and oil you (of forehead, sees on the Sant'Eliseo Mountain) to him. The country is formed from three fractions: in low Camopino, to the center Trinità and, in the tallest part, Sarrola, that dominates a tributary of the Gravona. To the exit of Carcopino, sees on the gulf of Ajaccio and the valley of the Gravona.
