In the heart of the Clays senesi, to Asciano, Building Corboli is center of an important archaeological civic Museum and Sacred art. The thirteenth-century building is not a "simple" museum in the most classical meaning of the term: from the sacred art, to the archaeological part, to the ceramics, it is the same building to be the first one, true, work of art. A coffer rich in jewels, that already by itself it represents a precious object of inestimable value.

The building goes up again to the first halves the XIII century, it develops him on three floors that have returned, during the jobs of restauration inestimable treasures of painting, of archaeology and, generally, historical information on the whole inhabited area of Asciano.

To the first floor of the museum seguie besides a chronological run, with the exposure of works of the Teacher of the observance, Giovanni Pisano, of the Valdambrino and Ambrogio Lorenzetti. Climbing to the second floor we find the works that have been preserved up to 1952 in the ex oratory of the Company of the Cross: sacred hangings and painting of the '500 - '600, from Rutilio Manetti to Bernardino Mei.
